Description: Seven of Nine is now able to eat food. Unfortunately, Neelix is the only provider of food on board the ship. God help us all. Anyway, Voyager want's to fly through B'omar space to cut some time off their trip. The B'omar are the MIBs of space, in that they don't want any of their people to know about the aliens (the Voyager crew). They're also dressed like baseball catchers. Anyway, they want Voyager to take a path through their space that looks something like the small intestine. Negotiations are going poorly (what else is new).

Seven of Nine then eats Neelix's food, causing her to flip out, grow new implants, and begin shooting other crew members. This is pretty typical of eating Neelix's food. (It's worse than the post office) She hijacks a shuttle and heads into B'omar space, causing them to cry "foul" (groan). She is chased by Tuvok and Paris for a while, she also manages to do the Vulcan neck pinch on Tuvok, capturing the chief of security in a matter of seconds. No wonder they've been invaded so often. Anyway, they follow a borg signal to a B'omar moon, finding the remains of "The Raven", the spacecraft Seven was on before her assimilation. The B'omar begin shooting at them. Voyager shows up and saves the day, and Seven is back to her old self.

Comments: I thought Seven suddenly bursting those new implants was pretty cool. If I was her, I'd try to do that on command, especially when someone grabs my arm or something and won't let go. Won't let go? Perhaps a borg spike through your hand will persuade you otherwise.

So, you think she'll ever eat again? Survey says: No. Problem is, Neelix puts too much iron in the food (groan again).

I also like the Borg bumpercar scene, where Seven goes slamming into B'omar ships and knocking them around. And who says the Borg aren't subtle?

Special Silvermoose Commentary: For a minute there I thougt I was watching Star Wars, when I heard about the "B'omar", but then I realized, "Wait! The Star Trek 'B'omar' has one less r in it, so it must be an original idea." Speaking of original ideas, did you know that Seven of Nine's original name was "Annika"? Bit close to "Anakin" don't you think? Star Trek writers are saying "This is great! Ever since Star Wars came out we haven't had a need for an original thought!"

Rating: 6

Best Moment: Seven attacking Neelix. If loving this scene is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Seven of Nine Moment: "Pleasure is irrelevent." Ma'am, I wish to prove to you otherwise.

Stupid Neelix Moment: His reaction to the news that his people were assimilated. It is nice to know that Talaxians make excellent drones, not suprising since they're always droning (triple groan). They're also quite delicious.

Continuity Question: How did the Raven get into the Delta Quadrant? (Note: Dark Frontier later explains this, but no one even thinks about it at the time. At least look around for a wormhole or something? Apparently they won't make it unless there's a big sign saying "Voyager, fly in here! This is a wormhole!")
